My 21st!

So yesterday was my birthday and it was amazing! I spent my morning with my family opening presents and watching a film, and then the boyf came round with some more prezzies. We then got ready to go out for dinner with a few of my closest friends.

We went to a little mexican restaurant called Panchos. I arrived and the table was all set up with confetti, party hats and balloons! I absolutely love my friends! I always love the food in Panchos but I do have to decide between drinking cocktails, or eating, as the food portions are pretty huge, and if I have been drinking, I really struggle to eat a large meal. But of course I decided to go for the cocktails as it was my 21st. After the meal a couple of my friends decided that I should do the tequila shot with a worm at the bottom. I had to close my eyes and just man up. If I thought about it too much I would have been sick haha.

After our meal they brought out my birthday cake. I was so happy and blew out my candles. Little did I know that my boyfriend had surprised me with an even bigger cake!

Not only was it a bigger cake... IT WAS A MINION!!! I literally just sat there and looked at it. I almost cried I was so happy. I couldn't believe how good it was. I was speechless, and that is very rare for me.

Later on we went to a nightclub where I aquired a banana to accompany my minion cake, as they do love bananas.

I thoroughly enjoyed myself and I am so very grateful for the friends I have. I love them to pieces and will always be there for them as they are for me.

Friends and family mean the absolute world to me. Without them I would be lost.

I love you all millions!! xxx

The World's End

The makers of Shaun of the Dead and Hot Fuzz have brought out a new film called, The World's End

When the other two films came out, everyone raved about them, but I just didn't understand why they liked them so much. Yes they were good, but they weren't amazing. After seeing the trailer for The World's End, I wasn't too keen on seeing it but decided to watch it anyway. Surprisingly, I really enjoyed it! It was funny, it had action and a hint of romance.

The film is about a group of child-hood friends, Simon Pegg, Nick Frost and co., trying to re-live their youth by completing 'The Golden Mile' in the town they grew up in. Seems pretty simple until they realise the people in the town aren't who they seem to be!

I would really recommend this film. I much preferred it to Hot Fuzz and Shaun of the Dead. I would also say it's on par with my liking of Despicable Me 2 and World War Z.

Let me know what you think of the film :)
