Parent's magic trick

Okay... I know I'm not the only one, but have you ever sat there all day doing nothing at all, and nobody talks to you right? As soon as you start doing something you enjoy, such as surfing the net, reading, listening to music... they start talking to you :O

CAN YOU DO THIS.... what?? I can't hear you IM LISTENING TO MY MUSIC!!

Parents... if we aren't playing a game, then ask us... BECAUSE WE GET AGGY TEENAGERS IF YOU DISTURB US XD

DIY

So, I haven't blogged for a very long time, and I decided to blog now :D

I moved into my new house just over 6 months ago now, and we have been doing major DIY and decorating work :D

Every time I try and help, I end up hurting myself... I just don't think I'm cut out for all this DIY malarky. And why does the tidying up take about 50 times longer than the actual demolition to begin with =O.

I must say... I do love stripping... WALLPAPER! Gosh, you lot and your dirty minds. I've found a technique that works great :D.

First of all, you get one of those wallpaper stripper things, and the wallpaper metal stripper thing xD Everyone knows what I'm talking about ofc...

Once it's boiled and getting all steamy ;) (twitterwoo... see what I did there haha) and place it on the wall horizontally. Hold it on there for a few seconds, and then slide it down slowly. Pull the bit you have STEAMED downwards, and slowly pull it down in time with the steamer.

If you do it right, it should come down in one big strip :D

And just re-steam the mini bits you leave behind and scrape them with the scraper :D

Just make sure you do not burn yourself on the knees like I did :S Bad times HAHA

My instructions probably aren't that clear :/ But I tried xD. I found this a quicker way of steaming off wallpaper, and it was easier to tidy up as it comes off in giant strips :D

Procrastination

I'm doing it right now...

I have work to do, yet I find anything else to do, other than my work. I swear it's a disease!! I cannot focus on one thing without being distracted. It is getting ridiculous =X

I'm very happy with my Doovdé purchases today though :D

I have finally bought "Up" and "Bedtime stories" with the almighty Adam Sandler!! He is actually amazing haha. I love his films :D

I have aimed to do as much work as possible by 6, and then we will all sit down and watch UP :D

I will let you all know later what I thought of the film, as I've heard pretty good reviews about it lately.

Screen Protectors

Okay, I have just received my new phone, and I also bought a screen protector and a clear case for it. The thing is, every time I put the screen protector on, a million bubbles appear. I have also scared myself, as I activated my phone online... and it just said that I have the same phone number!!! WHAT THE HECK!!! I mean.... I'm sure I should have a new number. Plus I wanted to keep my old phone as it has my pictures on it :(

As I was saying.... I don't have a clue how to get bubbles out of the screen protector, and it really does bug me =X I might decided just to take it off... but then I will scratch the screen, as you do, and then that will bug me even more :D I wish I didn't take off the other one :(

What is with "Your Mum"?

<<<<< DUH???

Okay, so you may be wondering... "Why have "Your Mum" as your blog title?? Well, first of all, I don't know what I'm doing, and secondly, it was the first thing that popped into my head at the time. Also, I thought it would be a first good topic. :D

I haven't really put much thought into this blog, but I don't understand why "Your Mum" is such a commonly used "insult". It is said so often now, that it isn't really an insult at all. Tbh, I think it has just become a habit for everyone to say it, when they have nothing else better to say. Even I say it, and probably a lot of people say it. We really need to come up with some better come-backs.

People often say that I am random, but that is what I like to be. Unpredictable. If you know what people are going to say all the time, we might as well not talk :D.

Wow... this blog makes me sound so moany! But surely blogs are about people's opinions on things. Due to the lack of ideas, this blog will be rather short, and pointless. Hopefully I will have better material for my next blog, to make it more humorous and exciting :D
